Electromagnetic Clutch & Brake Power Supplies
Power supplies that get best performance from electromagnetic clutches and brakes
hese power supplies are designed to get the best performance from our electromagnetic clutch and brake products. They broadly consist of supplies intended primarily for frequently operated electromagnetic clutches and brakes and rectified supplies to provide power to spring-actuated brakes and the like. You can select the optimal power supply for your application.

BES Models (For ordinary high-speed control)
These are compact, high-capacity overexcitation power supplies that can be used in the full range of electromagnetic clutches and brakes of rated voltage 24 V DC/45 V DC/90 V DC developed for general high-speed control. The pull-in time of the armature is improved by applying an overexcitation voltage, relative to the rated excitation voltage, for an instant to achieve high-frequency high-precision operation of electromagnetic clutches and brakes.
BEH Models (For ultra-high-speed control)
These dramatically improve the operating speed of clutches and brakes and achieve high-frequency operation and high-precision operation of machinery of various types.Installing a reverse excitation function in addition to overexcitation ensures that the fighting that can be a problem with large clutches and brakes does not occur. Optimal values have been preset for operation of Miki Pulley electromagnetic-actuated clutches and brakes, so complex adjustments are not required. Rigorous quiet designs mean that a strength of our electromagnetic clutches and brakes is a lack of whining.
BE Models (For ordinary control)
These are basic models of power supplies for controlling electromagnetic clutches and brakes with rated voltage of 24 V DC. The 24 V DC required to operate electromagnetic clutches and brakes can be obtained simply by connecting/inputting either 100 V AC or 200 V AC specifications.Since they output full-wave rectified 24 V DC isolated and stepped down by a transformer, the power supply is sturdy, safe, and highly reliable. The construction is very simple, unitizing a transformer and rectifier in a compact form factor, and maintenance is easy.
These are basic models of power supplies for controlling electromagnetic clutches and brakes with rated voltages of 45 V DC/90 V DC/180 V DC. The direct current required to operate electromagnetic clutches and brakes can be obtained simply by connecting/inputting using 100 V AC, 200 V AC, or 400 V AC specifications.Power supplies are available with a variety of specifications, including half-wave rectified and full-wave rectified, and are compact and lightweight as well. These are of the terminal block type, which allows easy connection to wiring, with a DC switching terminal.
These are compact power supplies for controlling spring-actuated brakes with rated voltages of 45 V DC/90 V DC/180 V DC. The direct current required to operate spring-actuated brakes can be obtained simply by connecting/inputting using 100 V AC, 200 V AC, or 400 V AC specifications. These are compact, lightweight models with limited functions that have terminal blocks that make wiring easy. They are simple power supplies that set only the input side and output side.
These are compact, high-capacity, widely compatible power supplies that can be used in the full range of electromagnetic clutches and brakes of rated voltage of 45 V DC/90 V DC/180 V DC.The direct current required to operate electromagnetic clutches and brakes can be obtained simply by connecting/inputting using 100 V AC, 200 V AC, or 400 V AC specifications. Since they can handle half-wave/full-wave rectified output by switching the connection method, electromagnetic clutches and brakes of various specifications can be handled by these power supplies alone.
These are compact, high-capacity overexcitation power supplies that can be used in the full range of electromagnetic clutches and brakes of rated voltage 45 V DC/90 V DC/180 V DC.Using these as overexcitation power supplies provides benefits such as longer (roughly double) service lives for electromagnetic clutches and brakes and shorter (roughly halved) armature pull-in times. Using these as weak excitation power supplies provides benefits such as lower power consumption (roughly one-quarter), suppressed heat generation (roughly one-quarter) in the stator (electromagnetic coil), and shorter armature release times.
These are compact power supplies for controlling spring-actuated brakes with rated voltages of 45 V DC/90 V DC/180 V DC. The direct current required to operate electromagnetic clutches and brakes can be obtained simply by connecting/inputting using AC 100, 200 or 400 V specifications.Since the entire case is molded of resin, they can be used in adverse environments and atmospheres, such as dusty locations, and they are compact and lightweight.
These are compact power supplies for controlling spring-actuated brakes with rated voltages of 45 V DC/90 V DC/180 V DC. They are compatible with input voltages of 100 V AC, 200 V AC, or 400 V AC.The direct current required to operate spring-actuated brakes can be obtained simply by connecting/inputting. These are ultra-compact, slim power supplies that can be installed anywhere. The mountings are also movable, so the input/output direction can be set freely. Also, since the entire case is molded of resin, they can be used in adverse environments and atmospheres, such as dusty locations.
