・b is the maximum width of the ring portion of the retaining ring.
・The minimum width of the ring portion of the retaining ring is preferably larger than thickness t.
It is also preferable that d4 be d4 = d3 + (1.4 to 1.5)b.
・Dimensions for applicable shafts are indicated as reference to recommended dimensions.
・For nominal diameter, column 1 is to be given preference, but column 2 may also be used as necessary.
・The standard dimension of 1.5 for thickness may be 1.6 where agreed between supplying and receiving parties. However, in this instance, m is 1.75.
・The standard dimension of 1.75 for thickness may be 1.8 where agreed between supplying and receiving parties. However, in this instance, m is 1.95.
